Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) is marker of inflammation.
And so it is raised if inflammation is there in the body.
Bilateral hilar prominence is commonly seen in bronchitis, tuberculosis (due to hilar lymphnode enlargement), sarcoidosis etc.
And in all these conditions cause raised ESR.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system, PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) and CT thorax.
PFT is needed to rule out bronchitis.
CT thorax is needed to rule out tuberculosis and sarcoidosis.
Consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health . Thanks.
