Suggest Treatment For Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Leukemia And Lupus

My nine-year-old grandson has hyper mobility with abdominal pain diarrhea mouth ulcers chronic fatigue and decreased appetite. He has had multiple tests done. Ruling out lupus MS leukemia and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. No one really seems to know what to treat. The only thing we are doing now is physical therapy for strengthening exercises due to the weakness of the muscles not supporting the bone structure. He can dislocate multiple joints at will and he also suffers from joint pain especially in the lower extremities. Our next visit is for an echo to check the heart muscle and to see and Immunologist. I m a nurse and feel so helpless. I m watching him wither away. Anyone s ideas are greatly appreciated.

Hi,

We cannot cure conditions like EDS permanently.

We can only go for supportive management.

You can continue physiotherapy for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
