General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The helicobacter pylori is treated with a combination of antibiotics such clarythromycine, metronidazole, and amoxicillin for 7-14 days. They are combined with antiacid drugs such ppi omeprazole because the stomach acid doesn't let the antibiotics work.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
