Suggest Treatment For HVP

Hi, long short is that I was diagnosed with HPV a year ago. Had surgery for lesions on cervix and laser on vaginal area for condyloms. The skin around my vagina and rectum is now very much so discolored but both specialists (gynecologist and colorectal) disagree on treatments. Gynecologist says laser surgery is a must whereas colorectal specialist says that there is nothing to do at this stage. Has aldara cream prescribed but had major, major side effects. Gynecologist said today to start Aldara cream again...which means I will be totally off my game for next 2 months... Suggestions?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,

From the available description, it appears that you are stuck between opinion of two different specialists. However, I feel (as per the available data) your colorectal surgeon is having a more rational approach while your gynecologist have more aggressive approach.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashok Kumar, Psychiatrist
