Suggest Treatment For IUGR During Pregnancy

Hello Doctor, My name is Mr.A. My wife is 26 weeks pregnant with twins (Monichronic Diamnotic Twins) . After the recent scan, IUGR was reported by out physician and advised us to be prepared in case of an adverse situation. We are heart-broken. They say the babies has got a single placenta and a single Umbilical chord to carry nutrients, and the resistance rate is very high for baby A, therefore the nutrients are not reaching to grow. The baby was in the 30th percentile in the last scan and now, it is near to the 50th percentile. They say cardiac activity is present on both fetus but the difference in weight is high... baby A is 500gms and B is 705. Can you please tell if this growth rate tends to differ in this rate, will that affect my baby A ? If baby A is affected, will it affect baby B ? Doctors also warned about early labor and in that case, the baby can even get Mentally Retarded. please help us. I am very upset...feels like no God exist as I haven t done anythin to hurt anyone and why I am the chosen one for this misery. Please help us, Doctor...

welcome;
In twin pregnancy there is 30- 40% chances of going in early labour, so you have to prepared for that and plan for delivery in hospital where NICU facilities are available to handle babies born prematurely. weight of baby A is definately Low, provide good nutrition to mother so both the babies can grow and hope for good babies outcome. definately if baby A is died it will affect baby B. THEREFORE go to your doctor every week for confirmation of wellbeing of both the baby.
wish you goodluck
