Suggest Treatment For Lortab Tablet Stuck In The Throat

About 24 hours ago I attempted to swallow the final lortab pill given by dentist....ever since that point it has remained stuck in my throat (or at least it feels that way)...I can breathe and swallow fine but it s a very irritating feeling that is not going away

Hi.

If you're breathing and swallowing is fine then you it does not seem like the pill is stuck in your throat. There is a possibility that the pill might have injured your throat leading to a feeling of discomfort and not that the pill is still struck in the throat. So to confirm you should consult an Emergency room and get yourself checked.

An examination of your throat has to be done using an Endoscope to see if anything is struck although it is very less likely. To now drink warm water, do warm saline gargles and take soft diet. Take Ibuprofen if there is pain.
