Suggest Treatment For MD Causing Choking Of Food

My wife suffers from MD. And aspirates her food occasionally and nearly chokes to a dangerous extreme ...any suggestions to reduce chances of fatal episode. Can I assist her in any way to expulse the food debris from air passage way. She is 63 and the episodes are becoming more severe

In my opinion, you need to see a an ent surgeon, to evaluate anatomical and pathological abnormalities and swallowing therapist (some postures helps in prevention of choking during swallowing.
