Suggest Treatment For PCOD And Heavy Vaginal Bleeding
Hi, I am 26 years old woman married since 2012 and having a 8 month old baby girl . I have been diagnosed with pcod since 2010, I had a c section delivery in April 2016 now since 15 days I m experiencing heavy bleeding and I have got my u/s done with shows endometrial thickness of 17.5 mm which my doctor says is very thick I had been prescribed with pause mf tablet for 5 days then there was a decrease in bleeding but after one week now I m experiencing again very heavy bleeding . My gynaecologist told thr r a chance of me going through D&C method . My question is - is this the only method for reducing my heavy bleeding and solution for thick endometrial lining or are there any other options ? Pls suggest
I think you should do a D&C procedure and also do a biopsy of the tissues that come out of it in order to determine the right diagnosis. The treatment depends on the result of the biopsy.
