Suggest Treatment For PCOD And Irregular Periods

Hi doctor I am 24 yrs, my height is 168 n weight 90. Two years back I was diagnosed with PCOD and my symptoms was limited only to irregular periods and hair loss. After taking treatment for 6 months my periods got regularized. And now it s been two months I have not got my periods yet. Should I start treatment again? And if I have to start also please prescribe the tablets.

PCOD is a condition that may cause many medical concerns includeing absence of menses that may last for months.Polycystic ovary disease(PCOD) treatment generally focuses on management of your individual main concerns.In your case, absence of periods.If pregnancy has been eliminated, treatment with combination birth control pills — pills that contain both estrogen and progestin may yield good results.Just see your Gynecologist for reevaluation.
