Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Recurrent first trimester miscarriages are mostly due to chromosomal anomalies, and rarely due to PCOS. However, you and your partner need to be investigated for the cause of recurrent miscarriages with thyroid profile, karyotype, antiphopspholipid antibody testing, blood sugar levels. Folic acid is recommended to decrease the incidence of congenital anomalies in fetus. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
