General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
PCOD is very complex disease and treatment should be taken for at least for 6 months.
I will manage PCOD as below:
Go for following investigation:
E2, Progestreone, LH, FSH, Prolactin, blood sugar, insulin, lipid profile, USG scan and ovarian follicle study.
Main aims of treatments are below:
Induce ovulation and regularise the menstrual cycle, reduce weight that increase insulin sensitivity and correction of hormonal imbalance,
Following medical treatment should be prescribed:
Oral contraceptive pills or Progesterone pill: to regularise the period
Clomiphene citrate: to induce ovulation
Spironolactone and fultamaide: diuretic action and induce ovulation.
Meformin: maintain glucose homoeostasis and induce ovulation
FSH analogue can be given

If no response after 5-6 months then ovarian dreeling like surgery should be done
Diet and life style modification:
Avoid spicy, fatty and oily food.
Take fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables.
Avoid excessive sweets and sugary items.
Do regular exercise and yoga daily in the morning for 45-60 minutes.
10-12 % reduction weight will help in induce the ovulation and regularise the menstrual cycle

So consult the gynaecologist and according to symptoms and investigations, she/he will give proper treatment.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
