Suggest Treatment For PCOD

Hi, for the past two months, Jan and Feb, I had very light periods (light spot, brown color, for four to five days), two days before I went to hospital, took USG and the report says I have PCOD. Is this disease is a big one to worry or it will be cured by taking medicines (Formitol & Corona). When I can expect my pregnancy, already am 28 years old

Hi, I think in PCO patients ovulation is not happening normally. So, you can take some medicines like clomiphene for the growth of your follicles and track your follicles growth by repeated ultrasound and when your follicles is more than 17 to 18 mm, take injection for rupturing the follicles. Be in contact with your husband for every 2 to 3 days after your periods stop. Take progesterone for next 2 weeks . Do a urine pregnancy test at home after that. You can try like that for 3 to 6 cycles. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope I have answered your question.
