Hi
Dr. Purushottam welcomes you to HCM virtual clinic.
I have gone through your query.
I think I have understood your concern, I will try to suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1) First of all do not panic.
2)Usually, after release the egg is viable for 24 to 36 hours. If you try to have unprotected sex activity in this period then you have chance to get pregnant.
You can also opt for IUI - Intrauterine Insemination on the day of ovulation.Usually, if do not get pregnant then next periods start 14 days after ovulation.
You need to expect and wait for pregnancy till that time.
3)As you might be aware that PCOS is a lifestyle disorder and you need to change for a healthy lifestyle.
I will suggest indulging in a healthy lifestyle, a healthy diet and regular exercise regime. Include more fruits, salads and vegetables in the diet. Drink plenty of water in a day. Avoid deep fried foods, bakery items and refined sugars. Also, start on Vitamin B 12, Folic acid and Omega 3 supplements. This helps to achieve healthy pregnancy and minimizes various pregnancy related risks.
4)This will help to sensitize your body for correct response to hormones and will ease out ovulation. You might need less medications for egg release.
Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for Tablet Metformin 500 mg twice a day to reduce insulin resistance along with lifestyle changes.
This all will help you to change your internal hormone imbalance towards normal and will lead to healthy pregnancy.

May God bless you with a bundle of Joy.
I hope my answer helps you.
Thanks.
Wish you good health.
With regards
Dr Purushottam Neurgaonkar
