General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the weight gain with frequent urination and polycystic ovarian syndrome do indicate matter of concern in this regard. The basic pathology behind this is usually insulin resistance and raised levels of FSH, LH by hormone axis alterations.

The metformin is best drug to control the symptoms after clinical assessment and evaluation. Addition of regular aerobics, diet control and weight reduction are of paramount importance in this case.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
