General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since you have been diagnosed with PCOS, your menstruation cycle abnormalities & weight changes need to be monitored. Along with that excess hair growth & any mass in the uterus needs to be investigated by pelvic examination & USG if required. You should have a regular blood test(to rule out blood sugar, cholesterol, etc). Stay away from depression & anxiety, addictions if any.

You will be treated with medications & surgery if any mass is detected. Get PCOS treated & if conception does not occur go for infertility treatment. About the medications prescribed to you can ask your treating doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
