Suggest Treatment For PCOS

I am 30 year old . I have been diagnosed of having pcos. My doctor places me on duphaston 10mg to use from day 15 to say 24 of my period.I really want to get pregnant . I have lost about 4kg in the past 2 months from dieting. Can the duphaston make me ovulate and get pregnant. prescribed described a herbal medication MACA powder . It was said to improve hormonal imbalance. Can I take it will taking the duphaston?

Hello,
In my opinion Duphastan has not much role in PCOS. You should be given Cyproterone acetate and ethinyloestradiol for three months if you have hyperandogenism.
get your other tests done like thyroid profile, serum prolactin, husband's semen analysis then try for pregnancy for 6 months. You might need to go for ovulation induction .
If it doesn't give success you need to go for higher level of treatment.

D chiro inositol helps in PCOS.
Don't get disheartened PCOS has very good pregnancy outcome if treated well.
