Hey, I have pholysistic ovaries I m not on birth control. I have recently (4 months ago) started having normal periods. I missed my period by a week, my headaches are mild but frequent. I began having cramps Monday and in exhausted. I passed a brown little clot last night and one this morning. I have pain on and off in my back and side. I had a pregnancy test a few days ago it was negative. Any suggests what it is or what it could be ? Ashleigh

Hello,

The delay in periods can be due to PCOS. This can be due to pregnancy also and can be ruled out after a urine test for pregnancy. The passage of clot can be due to periods also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rakhi Tayal,
OBGYN
