Suggest Treatment For PTSD And Bipolar Disorder

My husband has been diagnosed with PTSD and Bipolar 1 5+ years ago. About 2 weeks agohe was in a manic episode and went to the Dr. He changed his meds from citalopram to latuda, lexapro and busbar. He has been on it for 2 weeks and is now saying mean things to people, saying he doesn t care about people s feelings or how it effects them, He is saying he is not happy in his life and is now going to the bar. He was a non drinker for many years and has started drinking in the last month. He is secluding himself and is telling us his Dr is saying he should. I will consult his dr, but are the meds not working?
