Suggest Treatment For Poland Syndrome

I have a 16 yr. old son who was diagnosed with poland syndrome at the age of eight. He has just recently started doing some research about this syndrome, and now he is wanting to have surgery to correct it. I am undecided about what to do, but it is really bothering my son. He also has had a very low heartrate, and his doctor said it could be because of the poland syndrome.Can you give me some information about this and wether it is worth going through the surgery or not?
