I also have sinus problem because of which I get itching in the eyes and since I couldnt resist rubbing I did it. Now the problem is because of rubbing the skin on my eyelids has become like the way old people have hanging and with wrinkles. I am 25 years old. College girl and find it odd. Please suggest some cream to make the skin normal. It would be of great help. Just to inform that I am an indian so suggest something which would be available here.

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.

I understand from your query that you are having wrinkles around your lower eyelids.
As you have rightly mentioned, the main cause for this is constant rubbing of your eyes. This will not only cause wrinkles but will also cause dark circles.

I suggest that you meet an ophthalmologist to diagnose and treat the itchy eye. Itching in eyes is not related to sinus problem. It could be due to an allergic condition called allergic conjunctivitis. This could occur in association with allergic nose problem ( with sneezing and watery discharge from the nose) as well as dry skin.

You could benefit from using a good moisturizer twice a day as soon as you wash your face. Use a bland one without much fragrance as this could irritate the delicate skin under your eyes. You could use one containing vitamin E and aloe vera.

At bed time, after applying the moisturizer, use a cream containing retinol and Vitamin K combination. This is available in India.

Avoid rubbing your eyes. This is the mainstay of your treatment.

Hope this helps you.
Take care.
