I am 68 years old. I have RA I have been on Humira in the past and I had a privet Insurance co through my husband who is retired and does not offer Insurance any more . Now I have a insurance co and because medicare wouldn t pay for Humira I have to go to the hospital it get infusion every 6 weeks. I have a sever side affect to Remicade very high blood pressure moore than one time it went higher than 216/108 I had chest pain ,head ache, back pain ,stomache pain went to hospital they did all kind of mri, ct scan, many test couldn t fine anything wrong with my hart ever did a head mri. Than I remenbered I been getting these systems since I have been on remacade. I don t know what to do now. Medicare will only pay for 4 different drugs all have side affect like High blood pressure high and nasty side effects what do I do.
As Humira is well controlling agent for rheumatoid arthritis from the class of monoclonal antibodies as Adalimumab content. Continue 6 weekly injections infusion as it is under cover of insurance. So far as chest pain is concerned, it is best recommended for cardiologist consulting to reveal the underlying cause of the same to manage best possible way. You require an ECHO, EKG and other supportive tests for this.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
