Suggest Treatment For SCA3

Good Morning... My wife is diagnosed as suffering from SCA-3... It is hereditary as her father and some of her immediate ancestors suffered from the same disability... She is aged 61 now and had started showing the symptoms about 10 year back... which is continuously degenerating making her completely wheelchair bound now... we had some treatment in renowned Neuro-Science Hospitals and with specialists for several years but finally given up... FOr your information she has most of her functions near normal except for her ability to stand up alone or walk without help... I was looking for some help... Thanks

Since these genetic illness does not have curable treatment in present world and all we can provide to her is supportive and rehabilitative treatment. I suggest you to give her moral support and be her hand in need. Continue the Other treatment she is taking like physiotherapy and rehabilitation care.
