Suggest Treatment For UTI Along With Vaginal Infection

I have a UTI and BV at the same time, I was checked for a yeast infection and the test was sent to the lab. I still have to wait 3 days for my results. Would it hurt me to go ahead and take Monistat? I am having itching and am pretty sure I have a yeast infection too. I also wanted to know if I can take rephresh 2 days after I take the Monistat?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
When you have sent your sample for pathology, in the mean time you can use
Vagistat vaginal pills for relief,i pessary at bed time for 3 days.-can be followed by Rephresh.You can have alkaline syrup to get relief from burning in urination.
Many a times burning in urine is due to itching after yeast infection. Let the culture report come which will suggest more specific drugs for oral use.
Oral treatment is to be taken by both sex partners.
Avoid sex till both of you are completely cured.
