Suggest Treatment For A BV Infection

I went into the doctor 4 days after having contact with someone who previously gave me chlamydia, we both took the antibiotics previously and all symptoms on my end were gone. I went back in for a test for cure and the results came back with BV infection. I don t understand how I get a BV infection and if I went in too early to be retested for chlamydia?

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Some times BV infection occur during treatment of chlamydia because predominance of candida in vagina flora

For diagnosis you have to following tests:
1. Gram stain and culture
2. PCR and nucleic acid amplification test:swab should be taken from urethra
You should use following single dose treatment:

AZEE 1000 mg (AZITHROMYCIN)
TINI 1 G (TINIDAZOLE)
ZOCON 150 mg (FLUCONAZOLE)

3.If fever: Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg BD
4.Tablet cetrizine 5 mg BD orally if itching
5. Maintain hygiene as below:
Wash vagina 4-5 times in a day with warm salted watre
Wear pure cotton loose inner wear.
Wash your vagina with this water twice a day for two to three days with warm water
Apply Apple cider vinegar: it has excellent antibacterial and antifungal properties
Salt Bath- Wash your vagina with concentrated salt water whenever you feel the itch. This will give you great relief instantly and prevent further multiplication of bacteria.
Antibacterial/fungal talcs: apply candid powder
Keeping The Vagina Dry (Not wet, clean well)
Do use hygiene sprays
add yogurt and other fermented foods to your diet to promote healthy bacteria
Reduce the amount of sugar you eat.

Hope this may help you
Wish you good health
Best regards
