General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Hard skin with cracks over the area of previously inflamed region indicate fibrosis or scarring most likely. However, if you can provide me a photo pic of the rash of current status, I can guide further precisely in this regard. Till that time , application of aloe vera gel or turmeric paste will serve best for soothing, healing and anti microbial agent.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
