Suggest Treatment For A Blood Blister In The Finger

I pinched my finger in a door in such a way I was sure I d get a blood blister from it but that never happened. Instead, weeks later, I still have a lump there that has become a bit more tender over the last couple of days and was trying to find out what could be going on here and what to do about it. There in no discoloration and the lump is deep in the finger and sort of moves back & forth... figured it was a hematoma

Hello,

It is quite likely that the blister could be due to collection of blood after trauma to the finger. Hematoma usually clears away after couple of days. You can wait for few days and wait for the hematoma to settle down.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
