Suggest Treatment For A Boil On The Butt And Lump In The Navel Area

for a week now i have had a boil on my butt (popped sometime last night) a stiff neck and a lump on the top of my belly button, i m a diabetec and have just started insulin 3 weeks ago, can t sleep even though i m very tired, feeling sick, like i m going to throw up, hot and cold, the pain in my neck,goes right down into my shoulder been taking advil but its not helping at all

hi.

Boils and abscesses are quite common in individuals with diabetes, especially those who have a poorly controlled level of blood glucose. My advise would be to just apply a warm compress over the region of the boil, avoid popping it by yourself as it can lead to an infection as your wounds would not heal as quickly as a normal persons wounds would, apply a clean and sterile bandage over the region, and once it pops a topical antibiotic like neosporin.
