Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I was exposed to sun 2 days ago; at night, my forehead was all red and the burn was noticed. Two days later, IE: today, my forehead is swollen the size of half of a softball bump. Ive put ice packs on my forehead for 15-20 mins at once, during the day; even applied aloe vera
The development of red colored bump on forehead is likely to be due to sun burn. You may apply aloe vera for relief of burning sensation. Sun light should be avoided to prevent recurrence. I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment for management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
