Suggest Treatment For A Bump On The Head After A Fall

11 month old had fallen and gotten a goose egg on the forehead. Her Ped said she would be fine. No concussion, however, she never felt it. It appears to have a carder feel behind it as the goose egg is disappearing. It feels like there is no skull behind it as I press ever so lightly.
