Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a minor bump (singular) that looks like a slight ridge on the head of my penis. It is near the bottom of the head ( towards the shaft) and it was slightly colored white. Currently, it is almost invisible. I am sexually active, there has been unprotected sex, but I am sure that neither of us have acquired any STI s from others before as we are eachother s first sexual partners. I am a male that is 21 years old. Could this still be an STI?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi,
Only a direct consultation can confirm an accurate diagnosis. Most likely it is fordyce spot. These are benign lesions due to increased sebaceous secretions. Avoid tight undergarments. Avoid sweaty and greasy environment in genital area. Using aloe vera gel for local application will be helpful also.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nishad B. N., General & Family Physician
