Suggest Treatment For A Bump On The Leg

I had this bump on my leg for years. When I was a kid, 7 or 8, I was told that I hit my shin and a blood vessel busted and it grew over like that. I m now 22 and last week I scratched my leg and grazed it with my nail. Pus started to come out. My husband and I spent a straight hour draining it. When we got to the end a large, what looked like a smooth white pebble came out. It was hard. It left behind a hole too. And in the hole you can see this hard white stuff. What in the Holy hell had been festering in my leg for 15 years?! It never hurt so I never paid it any mind. Please help me!

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi
According to your history it seems you had an epidermoid cyst.
It is a benign asymptomatic cyst in the skin which sometimes gets inflamed or infected.
No need to worry.
You can apply a topical antibiotic cream on it twice daily till the time the lesion heals.
Regards
