Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have a concern about a bump on my left wrist. About 4 years ago that was diagnosed as ganglion cyst and was removed. It came back one year ago, and since then I have it. I went to a doctor (another one), had an MRI, x-ray, ultrasound and the doctor told me it s just a bone. But it hurts when I move the fingers. How can I be sure what it is?
A bony growth would be clearly visible in x-ray, MRIultrasound not requird for that. Also ganglia are notorious for recurring after removal so it most probably be ganglia recurred not bone. You may opt for surgery. Meet orthopaedic doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Arihant Pandey
