Suggest Treatment For A Burn On The Ankle.
I got a BURN in my right leg ankle by my bike silencer before 12 days .Now it is red in colour and after one day that red layer is coming out and again there is a red layer of skin,like this it continues.And i got irritation on that. I am applying SILVEREX (silver nitrate ) cream .Is it the wound is healing or it is getting bigger????

Hi,
It is a superficial burns caused by contact with hot silencer. Do not worry. Take rest for few days. Avoid walking. Continue applying silverax cream after cleansing with savlon. Take a course of antibiotic like cefixime 200 mg twice a day for a week. Also take antiinflammatory drugs like tab ibuprofen. Take vitamin C 500 mg tab thrice a day.
