Suggest Treatment For A Cut On The Hand After An Injury

My daughter was trying to hook up the hose to her washer and it shocked her. the tips of her fingers are raised a bit, but her hand hurts the worse. a cut but no bleeding. It happened about 45 minutes ago and shes went ahead to work. Told her some meds for the pain and ice. Is there anything else maybe she could do?
