Hi there I am 56 years old and are on regular steroid replacement thearapy as I had a pituitory tumour. I have a cyst on my testiculor sack which is painful and is like a spot coming to a head. Is there anything I should be doing to treat this as I am bathing with warm water, and will it go eventually?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood your problem of Pituitary tumor and steroid replacement therapy. Your problem at the moment is some swelling in the testicular sac. Whether this need an active treatment or not can be decided only after an ultrasonography and color doppler examination and direct examination by the Urosurgeon.
If the cyst is asymptomatic like Epididymal cyst or so, nothing needs to be done and get the review every 6 months .
Hi. Thanks for your query. I have read and understood your history of on steroids due to pituitary tumor and now development of a painful swelling on the testis.
I would suggest you to have a proper diagnosis and this is possible by a clinical examination by a General Surgeon or an Urologist as well as a simple ultrasonography examination.
Once the diagnosis is done then only it will be possible to decide the course of action but it looks that it is better to be removed.
