Suggest Treatment For A Cyst On The Underside Of The Lower Eyelid

I have had a small red cysts on the underside of my lower lid for over a year. I have tried hot compresses which reduces the size but then it gets big again over time. I wash my face every night and remove eye makeup but it has become very sore and swollen. Not so bad that you can see unless up close but I can feel the lump and it hurts to blink. Is there anything else I can do to reduce the swelling? My vision is also slightly blurred in that eye.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.
I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having a cyst on the lower eyelid.
This indicates a probable inflammatory lesion of the glands of the eyelid.
This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and antiinflammatory drugs.
Long standing cystic lesions may require surgical excision.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
