Suggest Treatment For A Cyst With Dark Head Near The Ear
I squeezed a small cyst next to my ear that had a dark head. I began to get an itch running down my neck which went to my stomach, arms and upper body. The itch is intense and appears to run in curved lines as though it might be going through nerves. I ve been told it is eczema. I am over 80 and have never had any family history of eczema or allergies. I have seen a dermatologist for over a year and all I hear is that it is eczema. Nothing I have tried to treat it has made helped to ease the itch or cure it. What is you opinion.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read the history and understood that your have 3 different problems. 1 . small cyst with a dark head in front of the ear that you popped. 2. eczema, it is a skin condition and getting it at your age of 80 is added with laxity of the skin. You can certainly take symptomatic treatment whenever required. 3. Intense itching in curved lines and may be due to some neurological problems.
Take Therapeutic dosages of Vitamin A and D and continue as anti-oxidants (multivitamins). Do not use any soaps or chemical containing things for the skin as it may increase your problems.
