General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As the injury happened one week back, there is no role of wound suturing now.

If there are no signs of infection, nothing to worry and the wound will heal by itself.

You can apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin for faster recovery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
