Suggest Treatment For A Dog Bite

Am taking this drug due to a dog scratched my lower leg requiring 12 stitches. Stitches are out but the thought was I needed this antibiotic 4 times a day for 10 days. I was previously on another antibiotic for 7 days. After the stitches were removed this past Monday I was given 2 bags of antibiotics blood work and a culture. Both back OK. Other leg is sometimes stiff now. Don t really know what the side effects are for this drug

Hi,

Which drug your using? Post the drug we will tell you for possible side effects. You have to continue the drug until the symptoms improved. Dog scratch may not lead to rabies unless it is infected with rabies virus or bitten by rabid dog. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
