Suggest Treatment For A Fungal Infection On Hip Region

I have what appears to be a fungal infection above my hip. It started with a small red circle which has grown in size and now there are small bumps/swellings around the circule which are then growing in size. It is incredibly itchy, especially at night or in the bath. I have been prescribed 2 different creams which have not been working and have now been prescribed Trimovate Cream. However, I notice that in the medical information it says you should not use for a fungal infection. I am very confused.
