Suggest Treatment For A Heart Disease

Okay my mom just had a pacemaker put in due to her MD an 3 days afterwards.. she was complaining of chest pain.. and when we took her into the ER they said she went Vtech.. an kept her for 24 hours.. and the doctors gave her Vicodin for pain relief.. an she has been taking one a day.. but our worry is she is sleeping for all day long.. an its going on 2 days now.. should we be worried?

Of course prolonged sleeping is a potential problem. In older people, pain medicines can have profound effect on the ability to think and stay awake that lasts for days rather than hours. Notify the doctor. Stop giving vicodin. Use acetaminophen for pain until your doctor notifies you differently.
