General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of dry throat followed by strep throat which got cured.
Now the problem is feeling of a irritating lump on swallowing.
The most probable cause of such a feeling is dryness that gives this feeling of a lump of the throat.
I would advise you to take a consultation of an ENT Surgeon and go for endoscopy to rule out any real lump.
If it is not there then you need just an assurance and throat lozenges, may be a course of metronidazole in low dose and steroids to overcome the dryness, and follow regularly with your Doctor.
