Suggest Treatment For A Knee Injury

I injured my knee back in junior high school while playing sports and have had some problems with it. Today, my knee almost gave out as I was about to stand up after coming in from shoveling snow. I began three months ago exercising daily and have not had any problems with it since exercising.
