Suggest Treatment For A Large Bruise On The Leg

My neighbour, an elderly lady, fell. She bruised her leg. Now she has a huge hump, looks like a blood filled blister, on her leg. It does not look correct. I have a picture. I am not sure what we must do. After the fall she saw the doctor. They took Xray. Said nothing is broken. Sure. But what about the blister. Is there a way I can send the picture. It is of the lower leg only. Kind regards, Louis

Hi,

Try cold compression on the blister. If it gets worse (i.e., bigger), you should get her to the emergency department again.
