Suggest Treatment For A Large Lump On The Head

Hi, I m a 50 year old male. I fell off my bike when I was 6 hitting my head hard on the sidewalk. I had a large bump which took a while to go down, I still have a small remnant of it. My question is if there are long lasting effects that impact cognitive abilities as you age?
