Suggest Treatment For A Large Red Lump On The Arm

I developed a large lump on my arm near my elbow on Saturday. It felt like a bruise but very little discoloration and I don t remember hitting my arm. Yesterday the area right below my elbow would turn red and then return to the normal color after a few hours. It seemed to have gone away but after i showered this morning the red spot keeps appearing and then goes away to return later.

It could be a hematoma. However other causes also be ruled out. Consult a general surgeon and get evaluated. An ultrasound scan can be taken in case of diagnostic confusion.
