Suggest Treatment For A Lump In The Scrotum

Hi, I have a large hernia that is in my scrotom. It s about the size of a small Mellon. It got larger over the past 3 years when I gained about 50 lbs. I am afraid of surgery and am wondering how it will be repaired and how long should I expect recovery time to be. I ve had this for about 15 years and it s starting to look like I have a balloon in my pants. I am 57 years old.

I think,if u have been clinically diagnosed with hernia and if your hernia is increasing in size then most likely you have direct inguinal hernia. Make up your mind for a surgery. You should undergo a hernia repair surgery. It's helpful and recovery is also faster . Other possibility, your swelling could be a hydrocele, collection of fluid.
