Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi , my son has a lump on his forehead, has been there for a few years, he has had an xray and the dr said it is soft tissue damage and not bone damage, when he was young he would always fall and hit his head in the same spot, he is now in mid teens and very conscious of his egg is there anything that can be done to reduce the size? thankyou
Hello, I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
There is nothing to worry if soft tissue swelling is not increasing in size and there is no pain. However, a swelling on head may look bad and make your son to feel bad.
If this is your concern then I suggest you to consult a general surgeon who can examine the swelling and may plan for its removal.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
Regards,
Dr. Prathap Kumar
