Suggest Treatment For A Lump On The Head Caused By A Hit

Hi I was washing kitchen floor below the fridge and I rose up and hit the top of my head when i arose and my head went straight into the fridge dooor ...i have a lump on my head slept not very well and i feel sickly today with a sort of burping feeling ...please advise thanks K ie should i take anything

Hello,

It could be hematoma or contusion which is nothing but a collection of blood underneath the skin following a blunt trauma. No definite treatment is required and it will settle by itself. If you have pain, you can take analgesics like tramadol for pain relief.
