Suggest Treatment For A Lump Under The Breast

My 10-year-old daughter just had me feel her right nipple, which has a lump underneath it. It s only slightly red on the outside, but that could be from her messing with it. She said she first noticed it about a week ago and kept forgetting to tell me. Should I be worried?

Hello,

By your history and description, I don't think any serious disease for her breast lump. But better to get done mammography to identify the cause.

Since she is approaching puberty, breast buds can enlarge and give feeling if lump. So nothing should be done for this. Just get it checked by mammography.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
